What Is Long Sighted
ive been told my 4 year old son has to wear glasses?
i am really upset about this, hes a cute kid and i dont want him 2 get bullied, i dont like glasses at all, im suppost to wear them but i wont cause i hate them, what should i do? can i get him laser surgery? he is Long Sighted and has Astigmatism
My daughter has been wearing glasses since she was 14 months old for being farsighted. She has not had any mean comments from kids, though she’s only 2 1/2 now. As others have said, kids in glasses aren’t looked down on nearly as much as they used to be. There are studies showing that kids think other children in glasses are more honest, but not any less attractive or athletic, so a lot of those stereotypes are going away.
Glasses for kids today are also extremely cute, I’m sure your son will look awesome in his glasses. It’s very important at this young age to make sure his eyes are treated so that his vision develops correctly and he doesn’t fall behind in school.
