Important Eye Care Tips by Raymond Lam
When it comes to taking proper care of your eyes, there are a number of things that you should be aware and informed of. Few people actually understand the various exercises and steps that should be performed in order to maintain proper function of the eyes, and although there are many, a few in particular will be discussed in more detail here.
Eye Care Tips
Out of all the eye care tips, one of the most important involves your diet. It is crucial that you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables such as carrots, spinach, papaya and mangos, because all of these are rich in beta carotene and therefore help you to have healthy eyes and proper vision.
Another of the important eye care tips is that you stay out of the sun for extended periods of time. Even if your eyes are closed, if the sun is shining brightly on them they are being damaged, and so it is important that whenever you are out in the sun you wear Sunglasses or otherwise cover your eyes, with a hat or towel, for instance.
Placing cucumbers on your eyes at night is also very effective, and not only helps you to see better throughout the day but also relieves puffiness and bags from under the eyes. This is definitely one of the best eye care tips of all, not to mention one of the easiest. Cucumber water or thin slices can also be applied to the skin around the eyes especially if this skin is looking dry or irritated.
Eye care exercises are also crucial and definitely one of the eye care tips that you are going to want to take very seriously into consideration. For one great eye exercise in particular, all you need to do is sit in a chair, rub your hands together until they feel warm, close your eyes and cover them lightly with your cupped palms.
Without applying too much pressure on your closed eyelids, you want to place your palms so that your nose remains uncovered, and that no light rays are able to enter through to the eyes. Take deep breaths slowly and evenly, and relax yourself, and after your eyes see nothing but blackness, remove your palms from your eyes. You will then want to repeat this process a few more times.
Eating properly, doing your Eye Exercises, using all-natural eye drops – all of these things are going to be very effective in attaining and maintaining proper Eye Vision and care, and so you are going to want to do all of this whenever you can. Remember that your eyes are very important to your overall health, and that there are so many different, easy things that you can do to take care of them.
